Ad Hoc Tests

AD-Hoc Testing are un-scheduled Tests

  • A User can complete a Test at the Hand held without having scheduled it at the Web System.

    • The User scans a barcode at any time and if any equipment with ad-hoc questions set up for it exists in that location, the questions will appear and can be answered.

    • Questions are normally answered negatively as Ad-Hoc Tests are for reactive maintenance – when something goes wrong.

    • It is recommended that only a limited number of questions are set up for ad-hoc Testing as this promotes speed of use. The system comes with certain ‘all encompassing’ questions already set up in equipment that is usually placed in each location, such as ‘Room/Area/Equipment Suitability for use.’
